A distributor in Jaipur may open your English profile on a laptop and your Hindi profile on a phone, in the same week. If the two look like different companies, you lose the trust you just earned.
One system, two languages — that is the rule.
1 · One grid before any words
Fix the grid, type sizes, margins and colour system first. Both languages live on the same skeleton: cover, who-we-are, products, proof, contact.
Hindi text is usually longer. Leave breathing room on Hindi spreads from the start, so a sentence never forces a redesign.
2 · Write, do not translate
Translate a finished English sentence into Hindi and it will sound like English wearing Hindi words. Interview the owner once, then write each language from that interview.
A Hindi speaker chooses the word a buyer actually uses on WhatsApp — not the textbook word. That choice is the difference between a profile that forwards and one that embarrasses.
3 · Numbers stay identical
Tables, prices, phone numbers and addresses do not change between languages. Proofread the figures once and copy them — never retype.
If the English says 10,000 units and the Hindi says 1,000, the committee will believe neither.
The bilingual checklist
- One grid, type and colour system locked before copy.
- Both languages written from the same interview.
- Figures and contact blocks copied, not retyped.
- Hindi proofread by a native reader who has never seen the English.
- Both PDFs searchable and print-ready from the same source.
Do that and the two files stop being translations. They become one company speaking the language each buyer prefers.
